Thwaites builds on new QAD ERP release

Dumper vehicles manufacturer Thwaites has gone live on the latest release of the QAD ERP system, with the help of QAD solutions partner Maxima.
Leamington Spa-based Thwaites serves the construction industry, and says it invested in the upgrade of its primary IT system to improve efficiency and support business development. Thwaites’ earlier system had been in place for more than 10 years, and was deemed incapable of supporting its strategic plans.
Thwaites says it selected Maxima and the new QAD Enterprise Applications 2007 ERP suite (formerly Mfg/Pro) on the basis the companies’ expertise in manufacturing, and the level of functionality offered in the latest release.
The company says that it will also be using QAD’s new Microsoft.Net user interface.
