Polish speakers now covered in 3M warehouse management development 08/01/2007

Global retail materials giant 3M’s IT arm, which develops supply chain execution software, has introduced a new release of its HighJump Supply Chain Advantage product suite.

The focus is on warehouse management system (WMS) functionality along with new capabilities aimed at helping global companies roll-out the product across multiple countries, business units and sites.

Interesting, one of the new languages it now supports is Polish – a key customer request given the growing number of Eastern Europeans working in UK warehouses.

“The adaptable architecture of our software allows users to choose the language they work in, so a Polish worker can work in his native language alongside colleagues working in English,” says Hugh Murphy, UK Business Manager of 3M’s Supply Chain Solutions Division. “Customers tell us this improves productivity as well as job satisfaction.”
