Syspro 6.1 will save manufacturers money by eliminating waste and duplicated effort, and reducing energy consumption, according to Manchester-based K3 Business Technology Group. Howard Joseph, managing director of K3, says that the major new release will provide important green and cost-saving benefits for mid-market manufacturers and distributors.
He also says it incorporates more than 1,000 customer-requested features and advanced tools "to assist sustainable operations".
"Sustainability is a high agenda item for K3 customers. They require maximum efficiency, from raw material through manufacturing and delivery of their products," explains Joseph.
"With Syspro 6.1, we provide cutting edge tools to help them with managing their green businesses. We've incorporated a vast array of updates to this version, and these will help them drive sustainability throughout their organisations – putting them in full control and building on the efficiencies they have gained through their existing Syspro investments," he adds.
In particular, Joseph alludes to a "new green architecture and modules, feature sets, workflow and customisation capabilities" – all of which, he says, are designed to make it easy for users to access the data they need in any application without the need for software development skills.
"This software is a new generation solution that will enable sustainable business," says Joseph.
