PTC offers full REACH environmental compliance 26/01/2010

manufacturing business REACH systems PTC says it has upgraded its regulatory compliance software solution, InSight Environmental Compliance, to fulfil the latest European REACH regulations.

On January 13, 2009, ECHA added 14 chemical substances to the candidate list of substances of very high concern (SVCH). And with the November 30, 2010 deadline for the submission of lead registration dossiers to ECHA approaching, companies will be scrambling to comply.

PTC says it will introduce its InSight Environmental Compliance solution at the sixth annual international REACH Conference in Brussels tomorrow (January 27) – with its focus on managing SVCH under REACH.

The organisation explains that InSight Environmental Compliance is a solution for managing and improving the environmental performance of products and the supply chain.

Manufacturers, it says, can meet customer and regulatory requirements, achieve corporate green goals, and lower the risk of blocked sales and costly supply chain disruptions.

"This best-in-class solution for tracking and improving the environmental performance of products, parts, materials and suppliers can integrate with the existing supply chain and product development systems, or function as a stand-alone system," says a spokesperson.
