manufacturing business i computing Another document management solution intended to enable manufacturers to automate systems, reduce costs, increase productivity and help with compliance has been introduced by Infor.

Established on IBM's i Series platform, Infor Document Management for System i provides an easy way for users to store and control access to documents, improving workflow, enabling quicker decision making and virtually eliminating errors caused by manual, paper-based processes.

So says Kevin Piotrowski, director of System i solution marketing, Infor, adding that the system has three components to help improve business operations.

The core component is Intellichief, which enables manufacturers to capture paper documents and manage them through business processes. The solution also features FastFax Servers and Formtastic Forms and Labels.

"Since the announcement of our dedicated System i organisation in February, we have delivered numerous innovations such as Infor CRM i Edition, which helps companies increase revenue and customer service, and now Infor Document Management for System I," says Piotrowski.
