Users of CDC's Ross ERP system can now get real-time access to customer, order and product information on their Blackberry devices. Ross Mobile v1.0 is now on general release, and Bruce Cameron, president of CDC Software, reckons that sales professionals will now be able to improve efficiency and deliver better customer service.
Information that can be accessed on Ross Mobile, he says, includes: customer details, sales orders, sales pricing, accounts receivable, inventory and order and shipping status.
"Ross Mobile is expected to help customers improve their sales and customer service through access to realtime information," comments Cameron.
"This access should reduce administrative paperwork, increase worker productivity, improve responsiveness to customers and promote fast and informed decision making," he says.
