Salads and prepared vegetables manufacturer Troy Foods says it expects to improve planning, cost management and process efficiency when it goes live with a Ross ERP system from Aspera Solutions. Troy, which serves major supermarkets and other food manufacturers, also believes that Aspera – CDC Software's UK implementation partner – will help it to improve overall business information.
David Gallagher, managing director of Troy Foods, explains that the organisation is going for a 20-user Ross ERP system to serve its two factories – in particular delivering traceability, recipes, quality control and date management – plus the ability to manage both large retailer batches and fast-response orders.
"Troy Foods has developed a very successful business model," says Gallagher. "However we recognise that to sustain our continued growth, we need better systems and management information to help us improve efficiency and make informed decisions.
"Ross ERP is widely used and respected in the food industry, and we have every confidence that it will help us achieve our goals."
