Sagem buys broadband and WiMAX business of Gigaset 07/07/2009
 
network mobile systems Sagem Communications has completed the acquisition of the broadband and WiMAX business of Gigaset Communications – a subsidiary of Arques Industries and Siemens.

It's the first acquisition for Sagem since being acquired by US private equity firm Gores Group and industry experts believe it will enable Sagem to enhance its position as a global provider of broadband products.

"The global footprint and complementary customer base of Gigaset will allow us to deliver an even greater offering and value proposition to our customers," says Patrick Sévian, President of Sagem Communications..
