Pegasus launches Scrap IT discount scheme 23/06/2009

manufacturing business accounting system Accounting and business software specialist Pegasus Software is offering SMEs a £3,500 trade in on Opera II.

According to Stuart Anderson, operations director at Pegasus, that amounts to a 40% discount on Pegasus Opera II when they trade in their old accounting software.

Says Anderson: "SMEs are facing some of the toughest market conditions in decades, so the right financial software is critical to keep a tight ship.

"Our 0% offer has already enabled SMEs to get a grip on finances, achieving a faster return on investment whilst spreading payments and reducing capital expenditure. But we are confident we can deliver more."

He says the idea was inspired by the government's car scrappage scheme.

It also follows Pegasus' recent 0% finance deal, which offered interest-free finance over a 24 month period, and its '£1 a day HR department' offer, aimed at protecting SMEs from tribunal threats.
