Wonderware UK announces speaker line-up for November’s Xchange 2008 30/09/2008
 
The line-up of speakers at Xchange – Wonderware UK’s automation and manufacturing execution technology user conference and industry networking event – has been announced.

Wonderware UK, a business unit of SolutionsPT, is running this year’s event at the Alton Towers Conference Centre from 4 to 5 November, and the opening keynote will be from Stephen Radley, chief economist of EEF, the manufacturers organisation, on manufacturing performance and productivity.

Also in the keynote line-up is Simon Pollard, vice president of manufacturing operations and execution for SAP, former analyst and member of the Supply Chain Council, who will speak on integrating shopfloor automation systems with enterprise layer business systems.

Other speakers include Michael Grasley, director of consulting for Aseco Integrated Systems of Canada; Nick Barnett, director of manufacturing operations EMEA for Microsoft and, from Wonderware, California, director of product definition Niels Andersen and senior product manager Jeff Nuse.

John Bailey, managing director of SolutionsPT, says there will be 24 breakout sessions, all of which are now detailed on the event website, organised into four streams – product & technology, vision, hands-on and applications.
