Oracle CRM on demand now integrates with Siebel CRM 04/09/2008

Preconfigured integration that provides a single customer view across Oracle on-demand and conventional Siebel CRM systems is now a reality, enabling holistic views of manufacturers’ customer data.

Oracle senior vice president of CRM Anthony Lye says that this integration will help companies that need on-site CRM functionality for business process-orientated CRM, as well as on-demand CRM for remote offices and mobile sales and marketing professionals.

It also specifically solves the common data silo problem in these environments, while, since it uses Oracle’s standards-based Application Integration architecture and Fusion middleware, it’s also reasonably future-proof.

“The debut of Oracle CRM On Demand Integration to Siebel CRM is an industry-defining step, allowing organisations to quickly and effectively realise the benefits of an integrated CRM system,” says Lye.

“The deep functionality of on-premise CRM and the rapid deployment and ease-of-use capabilities of on-demand CRM are now powerfully combined for organisations to extract even further value from their Oracle investments.”
