Harrison saw slices through problems with integrated ERP 03/07/2008

Saw blades manufacturer Harrison Saw and Tool says it expects to streamline business processes and refine customer service following implementation of Solarsoft Business System’s next ERP software.

Harrison managing director Tony Cookson says that, with substantial growth over the last few years it had become essential to install an efficient and reliable ERP system to maximise sales opportunities, increase margins and improve credit control.

“Our business previously used two different ERP systems, but we knew we needed a single system that could cater for our diverse needs and also facilitate the future expansion and growth of the business,” he says.

“By implementing a system that could provide us with full control over our stock and enable us to send customers’ documentation via email or fax, direct from the Solarsoft application, we can now focus on attending to our customers’ needs rather than stuffing envelopes.”
