Configurator to weigh in for Ishida configure to order production

Turnkey weighing and packing line plant manufacturer Ishida Europe says it has chosen Cincom’s sales configurator software to improve its quote and proposal processes for configure-to-order products.
Ishida operations systems manager Ishida Tim Cutler says the organisation will deploy the system across its Europe, Middle East and Africa regions for both direct sales and its dealer network.
Cutler says the company selected Cincom for its clear ability to help manufacturers to configure complex products with 100% accuracy, while dramatically reducing proposal-generation time and cutting lead times by up to 80%.
“Cincom’s drag-and-drop user interface is intuitive and makes it easy to capture and maintain product configuration rules,” he says. “The fact that Cincom is a global company with a support centre in the UK was also a big plus for us. “We looked at other providers, but none was able to offer the level of support and prove its solution to the same extent as Cincom.”
