K3 acquires £1.8m Index Computer Systems for £2.75m 21/12/2007
 
manufacturing business software Microsoft Dynamics AX software reseller and Gold Partner Index Computer Systems has bee acquired by K3 Business Technology Group for £2.75 million in cash and shares.

The move extends K3’s range of Microsoft-centric offerings beyond the infrastructure and CRM (customer relationship management) levels and right into the ERP level and the food and process manufacturing sectors, with Indes’s extended Dynamics’ software modules.

Index customers include British Bakels, MBMG, Jeyes Group and Abel and Cole, one of the UK's largest organic delivery companies. It claims average system order values of £350,000.

K3 says it will retain Index's key management team, which will be retained.
