Epicor takes top position in Forrester ERP analysis 14/11/2007
 
manufacturing business software ERP systems developer Epicor Software has taken top place in delivery and financing mechanisms in analyst Forrester’s October 2007 report, The Forrester Wave: Enterprise Apps Software Licensing and Pricing, Q4 2007.

The report evaluated the licensing and pricing strategies of leading enterprise applications vendors across 97 criteria – report inclusion reflects vendors with the greatest mindshare and market presence.

Epicor tied first in both the large enterprise and SMB editions of the report for delivery and financing mechanisms, with perfect scores in hosting options, lease to buy, financing options and delivery options.

Overall, Epicor was named a leader in the SMB edition, and a strong performer in the large enterprise edition of the report, scoring among the top three vendors for license support.

Authoring analyst “Ray Wang of Forrester says: “Much of Epicor Software’s success stems from its overall good marks and the strong service orientation remarked by many of its customers…Epicor Software should be considered by midmarket enterprises and divisions of larger enterprises for its leadership position and stronger than average support for the enterprise software licensee bill of rights.”
