Atos Origin announces a new SAP initiative for CPG 11/10/2007
 
IT services company Atos Origin has launched a centre of expertise in the UK with SAP and HP, focused on the consumer packaged goods sector..

It’s the latest in a series of centres under the firm’s Maximise Manufacturing Together (MMT) initiative.

“The aim of this new centre is to drive innovative SAP solutions, so we can better address the business critical issues facing our CPG clients today,” says Paul Bray, vice president of enterprise markets for Atos Origin UK.

“We will focus on areas such as how to effectively meet the increasing regulatory demands, manage the changes which arise from mergers and acquisitions and the need to bring new products to market quickly and efficiently,” he adds.

Mark Vickery, IS director at Premier Foods, comments: “Atos Origin is currently working closely with Premier Foods on the implementation of SAP across the newly expanded business. We will look to contribute to, and benefit from, innovative solutions developed by the team at the new Atos Origin Centre of Expertise.”
